How to Check Travel Ban in KSA via Absher Online

Absher in Saudi Arabia provides great services to citizens and residents. Checking travel ban is one of the most popular services on the Absher platform. The services let you know if there are restrictions against your iqama number in Saudi Arabia. If imposed, you cannot travel though.

Anyways, In this article, I am going to show you how to check if there is any travel ban on your Iqama ID. So, let’s get started.

How to Check Travel Restrictions in KSA

Visit Absher and log in to your account. Scroll down and click Service Suspension and Travel Restrictions under Other Services. You will see the Generalization Report notice, click Proceed on that. You will see the status on the next screen (ban or not).

No Travel Ban or Restrictions

When the report query for Generalization is shown you will see if there is any travel ban or not. When there is no Ban, you will “There is no Generalization report registered again your Iqama”. You can then travel without any hassles.

When there is Travel Ban

Using the above procedure, when you see the Generalization Report Query page with your name, iqama number, and other details, consider there is a travel ban against your Iqama number. You will see the ban details on the page.

In this case, you will not be able to do the following things while in the Kingdom as an Expatriate:

  • You cannot travel outside of the Kingdom.
  • You cannot get a final exit visa or exit re-entry visa.
  • You won’t be able to leave the Kingdom without the government’s permission until the ban is over.

Conclusion

If a ban is imposed again your Iqama number, consider talking to your Kafeel and making negotiations. Because your sponsor is the only person who can remove this ban. However, if there is a police case or other issues consider reaching the desired department.
